Suzhou's Pretty Okay

It was just a whole lot of this:

*Shudup about how pretty you are already, China! We get it.*

We got to stay in a cute little place called Water Town Youth Hostel in an alley way that was pretty much the coolest place EVER for only 20 bucks a night. If you want to be a bit extravagant and pay $35 a night, you can have a multi-floor suite thing. I want to live there.

This was the route through the hostel and up to our room:

So much fun!

Because of our trip and my being negligent, I'm a bit behind on my new self portrait project, so here's some from the days I missed:

  1. I like your self-portraits, in particular the muppets one, Elmo is my favourite. Or have you drawn Animal? He is also red. The top photo is a very pretty area.

    1. I was actually drawing Animal, but Zomigosh I love Elmo too! He's such a lovable, huggable, airhead. I love it! I actually named my dog after him. They have the same personality.

    1. Thanks! I was trying to make a muppet version of myself. I'm thinking, as I look at it now though, that the body shape is a bit wonky. oh well!

  4. Wow - Suzhou and the youth hostel looked so cool. You are such a good artist! Love your pictures. (I didn't know one of the Muppets was a zombie.)

    1. Oh thanks! And yeah, the zombie is the newest member of the muppets team. The creators decided to go a different direction than their normal one. The she-zombie is actually going to be starring in their next Christmas special, so better start preparing yourself for the puppet carnage now. <3

    1. Urrm...no. I can understand when people are talking about the munchkin, and what they're saying, but other than that it's "Hello, I would like to buy some coffee." Not close at all to being able to have a conversation yet.
