Sometimes I Just Have to Say to Myself, "No Izzy, Don't Be Absolutely Perfect. That's Boring and People Will Hate You For It. People Hate Perfect People. THAT's Why You Have No Friends. Also, You Talk To Yourself."

So I know I have this whole thing going where I do one self portrait a day for a whole month and all, but really, my face isn't all that interesting. And this is my blog, darn it!

I've decided that it wouldn't be failing, per-se, if I just took a momentary hiatus from the challenge today and did a portrait of my sister... without asking permission.. or telling her.. and just posted it on here for the whole interweb to see! So I did. Cause that's how I roll and that's how them healthy relationships function.

Look internets! It's like a magical fairy blew sherbet chunks all over her pretty mug! So many purdy colors...

Here's a giggling baby. That always makes it better.

Love you sister!
~Izzy~

  1. See, I like the splattered vomit approach. What kills me is when someone finds their "angle" (you know, that angle of their face they somehow seems to think is the best) and they take 30 pictures of themselves in the same style that are completely identical except for the background. Might as well just photoshop the same picture into a different backdrop every day. At least that would be interesting. "Here I am about to be eaten by a velociraptor!" "Here I am in the year 1791. Let them eat cake!"

    1. Naw. That actually is my sister. She's a year and a half older than me and we look veeery similiar. The way you can tell us apart is the fact that she wears color. I'm pretty monochromatic in my color choices. Oh, also her hair is about a foot longer than mine. :)

  6. Perfect Izzy,

Perpetually perusing posts for prochaine painted portraits is peaking our passions (and piquing our patience). Please placate your public.

    1. Hey Pretty Person,
That was some perfectly put-together prose. Let's have a pizza, puppet, pickle, picnic party! P!

    1. If you look closely, you can tell that they're starting from the pupil. You do NOT want them to be real. *shudder*
